Since May 7th 2020, POWECOM KN95 Masks have become the hottest & one of the most desired KN95’s on the market. They are now 1 of only a few that are Authorized by the FDA for use & to be imported from China into the US. The CDC tested 10 of their Masks and all of them measured more than 95% Filter Efficiency. OKSAFE is a POWECOM Company. Here you can see the 1st line of Text in Blue, & about 2/3 down the page in Green text & again a little below that they mention OKSAFE. While we can’t state that the OKSAFE Masks have the same Filtration Efficiency as the POWECOM, they are made by the same company. And from what we can tell, in our personal opinion, they look to be the same. We make no claims about Efficiency. Being that they are sold in 2 Packs, you can buy a small amount and see if they will work for you.
As you probably know, N95 Masks are almost impossible to acquire now. The KN95 Masks from China are easier to get (still difficult) and are more affordable, which is why we decided to sell them. Additionally, we believe that the N95’s should only be used by Doctors, Nurses, & any other Healthcare Workers who are face to face with people who are infected. Based on the comparison by 3M, we can see that the N95 & KN95’s have almost the same amount of Protection. One being US Certified and the other being China Certified. The Filter Performance for both types of Masks is ≥ 95%. There quote “It is reasonable to consider China KN95 as equivalent to US NIOSH N95 Respirators”.
We are definitely not Mask experts. If it wasn’t for this Virus we would have zero interest in these. But there does seem to be a major disconnect between Commercial & Personal use, and there isn’t much interest from the Government to get any Masks into the hands of the people. And while we agree that Healthcare Employees need these the most, we also have to protect everyone else who isn’t in a Health related field. That is our intention, to get these in the hands of regular people who need them also.
